1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, "HNS Travels," "we," "our," and "us" refer to HNS Travels (Pvt.) Ltd., registered in Pakistan. "Traveler," "you," and "your" refer to the person(s) making a booking. "Package" or "Tour" refers to any travel arrangement, trekking expedition, or service purchased through HNS Travels.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation email from HNS Travels and payment of the required deposit. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion without obligation to provide a reason.

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 21 days before the tour departure date
• Bookings made within 21 days of departure require full payment at time of booking
• All prices are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless otherwise stated

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Traveler

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to bookings@hnstravels.pk. Cancellation charges are calculated from the date we receive your written notice:

We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances including severe weather, natural disasters, civil unrest, or insufficient group size. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost. HNS Travels is not liable for travel expenses, visa costs, or other costs incurred by the traveler prior to our cancellation notice.

4. Changes and Amendments

Itinerary modifications by the traveler after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Modifications requested less than 15 days before departure will be treated as cancellations and re-bookings.

HNS Travels reserves the right to alter itineraries, accommodations, or transportation arrangements due to weather, road conditions, or safety concerns without liability. In all such cases, we will endeavor to provide alternatives of equivalent quality and value.

5. Health, Fitness, and Safety

• You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, physical limitations, or medications that may affect your participation
• HNS Travels reserves the right to exclude any traveler deemed medically unfit at any point during a tour, at their own cost
• All travelers must comply with the safety instructions and decisions of HNS Travels guides at all times
• Altitude sickness can affect anyone regardless of prior experience; descent is mandatory if symptoms are assessed as serious
• Travel and medical evacuation insurance is not included and is strongly recommended for all travelers

6. Travel Insurance

HNS Travels strongly recommends that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure, covering: medical expenses and emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and curtailment, loss of baggage and personal effects, and personal liability. HNS Travels does not provide insurance and is not responsible for costs arising from lack of coverage.

7. Liability

HNS Travels acts as an agent and organizer for tours and accepts responsibility for ensuring the services described in your itinerary are delivered with reasonable care and skill. However, HNS Travels is not liable for:

• Loss, injury, or death arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government actions
• Services provided by third-party suppliers (hotels, transport operators, airlines) where those services are not directly under our control
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Costs incurred due to delays caused by weather, road conditions, or government restrictions

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from HNS Travels' proven negligence.

8. Passports, Visas, and Permits

It is the traveler's sole responsibility to ensure they hold a valid passport with at least 6 months validity, any required Pakistani visa, and all applicable entry documents. HNS Travels will assist in obtaining trekking permits where applicable as part of your package, but is not liable for delays or denials in permit processing by government authorities.

9. Photography and Media

HNS Travels and its guides may photograph and film during tours for promotional purposes. By booking with us, you consent to your image being used in our marketing materials. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before your tour commences. Conversely, you are welcome to use photos and videos taken during your tour for personal use. Please be respectful when photographing local communities and always seek permission from individuals.

10. Environmental Responsibility

HNS Travels is committed to responsible and sustainable tourism. All travelers are expected to:

• Carry out all personal waste from trek routes and campsites
• Respect wildlife habitats and refrain from disturbing flora and fauna
• Follow Leave No Trace principles in all natural areas
• Show respect for local communities, customs, and religious practices

Failure to comply with these principles may result in removal from the tour without refund.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from bookings with HNS Travels shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.

12. Amendments to These Terms

HNS Travels reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
